I guess this blog can become my camp blog liao. HAHAHAHA.

Leo Fusion Camp 2010 ended and it was a blast! :D made lotsa new frens which rox of course! remind me to keep stepping out of my comfort zone~ hahas. n i think this is one camp which i learnt a lot! it has a hell lot of reflections and theory like thingys and etc, but those ppl there are seriously smart sia =.=

pre-camp:

learn all those theory theory things from Kheng Leng about how to be a good navigator that kind. n learning "tai ke wu" for the dance performance on the last nite of the camp, run through icebreakers, games trial etc etc. definitely not the most fun day, as everyone still struggling to know everyone. all the theory made me dread camp. (1st time i dread camp siol. some more no sense of excitement b4 camp at all =.=)

Day 1:

Icebreakers wif grp as usual. when was the first event ever not icebreakers. hahaha. i realised that the driving that game is called traffic jam. jam brake is elbowing ppl's thighs, reverse just turn n face the opp direction, hump ah just put 2 hands n bend down on the ground. still got lam da forget how do liao. LOL. then make group sail (flag) wif grp. our grp has like only 5 ppl :D most of them so quiet la. except siti :) n Penguin x2 is formed!!! erm flag drawing credits to justin? lmao.

then its the community challenge!~ quite fun. but it's a total waste of bus fare. n i really like the games that leo club plan de coz its like new lor! those kinda nvr play b4 kind. i like! 1st stop is at st gabs there. task is to sing national day song. then pick litter aft tat. our group likka zai only at singing. HAHAHAHAHA. super super epic. got justin wad =.= some more our grp alot sick ppl! woots. 2nd stop is at toa payoh near trellis towers de touch homecare outside. game is to piggy back someone and step into the boxes in the fastest time possible. Hui Jian carried me sia. i think that's my first time i got piggybacked by ppl. embarrassed :X hahaha. our group just nice 3 boys 3 girls ^^ ZAI!! 3rd station is the dining in the dark de. n got a station game which is blindfolding all the grp members, n then only 1 person is not blindfolded. the not blindfolded person have to instruct the other grp members to construct a given picture using ice cream sticks and straws. Xinyi kept saying our grp has the best instructions sia! ahem justin of course =.= n the dining in the dark part is quite cool siol!! its really total pitch black (except for those glow in the dark watches) and as usual i'm always the last to finish. paiseh :X then slack time. supposed to go to do the 4th station which is like handicapped de. then have to use chopsticks pick out the red n green beans using only 3 fingers. glad that i nvr go that station. hahaha. at 4.45 we reached raffles place to take the green line, then zhi hong called n so we headed back to clementi. reach clementi of course not so fast go back sch la :) went buy liang teh, and green tea at ntuc. hahaha. then slowly made our way back to sch. in sch still got one last station. the whole grp tie their legs tgt n we have to make our way through a obstacle course la. just twists and turns only. quite fun. the station master love our grp sia! coz we cheer for them n we walk like penguins shuffling along the whole course :D love my group!!!

then dialogue session wif trybe after dinner. quite interesting la. though quite some ppl over exhausted so like falling asleep. learn from their experience was quite funny la. n then debrief. 1st time i conduct debrief? i think. hahas. i tried to put wadeva i learnt to good use la. by my group too zai we just go straight into the open up n talk that part. no nid the thumbs up thumbs down method. as usual anything to do wif talking just throw to justin. n I FINALLY SLEPT AT LOFT SIA!!!! nothing special but at least i finally slept at loft lalalalas~ i feel so bloody inexperience la. the year 1s all tio shock that i year 2 alr still havent slp in loft. so i super zi high that i got to sleep wif my campers :) although my grp only 2 girls there, i got to know julyn n juliana who are celeste's frens. hahaha i noe i kaypo. i like to disturb ppl ^^ they are daren's grp de, n his grp doesn't have a female GL, so its dam shuang i get to bunk in :) i even got a bed sia, sharing room wif Song Huan. Siti slept outside in the living room wif Mardiah (also not my grp but we all know her ^^).

2nd day:

morning exercise wif "Giant Wizard Elf". Jonathan is a damn good giant since he does look like one. hahas. quite a fun game la. Giant steps on elf, wizar

d uses his magic to overcome the giant, and elf chews the wizard's feet. it's like scissors paper stone anw ^^ n the haha game is not fun so i shan't write here. hahaha. or more like, i very easy laugh de so got haha game or no haha game also no difference ^^

after breakfast the grp have to design a peace out poster. i'm glad that i dropped very subtle hints (like telling then wad the other grps have) n so they started exchanging for stuff they want from the other groups ^^ GLs not supposed to help out la. so i just see n let Jing Hong and Siti who lead majority of the discussion to think of what to put in the poster. 1st group to get started, but our grp being naive and simple minded ppl dun think too much about winning ^^ n thats when we noe Hui Jian is a black horse sia. under drowsiness medicine still can present until so ai zai. =.= but i still like our group's poster more coz it's so easy to understand ^^

that's our peace poster. n that's Soon Eng. ^^ NICE RITE?!?! the penguin is super cute.

after peace poster is lunch then it's activity based learning. not nice name rite. but it's called station games and telematch in other words. our team lost all 4 of the station games, but we are still as high as ever la!!! :D AI ZAI! 1st station game is like captain's ball liddat. only the captain is not handicapped but the rest are handicapped. some have their legs tied wif rafia string (mermaid), some have one arm tied with rafia string (one arm pirate), and some have their one eye covered wif black trash bag. quite fun siol. though if u move too vigorously the rafia string will be super painful. n we lost to zhi hong and Gerlyn's group (spongebob) 9:3 or something. 2nd station is spider ball. have to use rafia string tied to our legs, form a spider web, then transport the ball inside a paper "container" for a certain distance. i think my grp nvr really understand the game well la. so we lost very graciously but it's ok!!! :D 3rd station is towel bath. best station game ^^ sit down in a line n must transfer a dripping wet towel over our heads from the last person to the first person n the first person will have to squeeze the water into a bottle. our group lost 2:1 but we all enjoyed getting wet sia!! :D 4th station is the candle thingy. a bit like entaglement but its not. the whole grp stand in a circle, then in between our palms will have a candle. have to turn from inwards to outwards and back to inwards again. we all had fun turning here n turning there ^^ Penguin x2 lost everything but we the AI ZAI ppl had fun la ^^ shouting cheers here n there for the station masters even wif all the cui throats/voices~

after station games is telematch at the same place. the game which my whole group loved: volleyball! hahaha. wif water balloons. n lotsa canvas sheets n towels. its the throw n catch de. the 1st round the GLs were the *ahem* human targets. suay siol. kana put wif justin for that. yes n we are hailed the most 没有默契 de group. since i like to shoot ppl. well all the better ^^ the human targets are supposed to siam the water balloons the opponents throw or else it will be 2 points for them. n what better way to siam than to stay near the back and self entertain ourselves ^^ we were there playing "give me tempo ready go" (name game) and "请你跟我这样做“. hahaha epic-ness when we GLs are too bored ^^ kana commented by Alex at debrief. hehehe. but 2nd n 3rd round we joined the campers to play ^^ we got the bigger canvas n 6 of us (Mardy, Celeste, Siti, Soon Eng, Hui Jian, n me) were like flinging balloons over. dam zai. hahaha. the only bad thing is that the balloon is too good quality and some of them have too little water cannot burst sia! and with the zai-ness of group 4, we won all 3 games sia. HAHAHA. but it was the only not very recognised achievement coz its 4 grps on each side.

then came the next not telematch like game which just uses a lot of ur head. the biiiiiig circle will be divided into 2 and a leader appointed on each side. half the circle will have to follow the leader and tap the bucket in the middle of the circle n end up at the opposite of the circle. this game is really that frustrating to make us stay there for like 1 hour plus plus thinking of a solution =.= some more GLs cannot hlep since we know the trick :( but i hint hint a bit la. HAHAHAHA. but at the end of the day my hint not much use la ^^ so who cares~!

performance practice after wash up and dinner. penguin x2 first to perform sia. n my face all throw until dunno where le. the performance is quite super epic. i wonder how i looked. LOL. of course my group didn't have the best story line, but we all had fun performing sia!! Celeste did a good job at narrating ^^ the other groups all so zai. all got link n story line that made perfect sense de. hahahaha. but penguins did wad penguins do n we rox la :D

end of the day must always come back n say my group AI ZAI de :)

3rd day:

the most un-cui group since everyone slept early and nvr ton. HAHAHA. but still tired la ^^ played "captains on the deck". got lighthouse, man-overboard, 4 men rowing, 5 men eating. its actually a ice breaker la. hahas. then leo quest where we have to like plan i CIP. we planned it for special needs children la. erm of course no proposal is out yet. n the crucial info still lies in my hand =.= havent dispatch it yet. zzz. i hope will be a success sia! Appreciation, where we write our names on a paper and then paste it on our backs. then go around n let others write on it. quite fun sia. i dam random de ^^ i bet i left the lamest messages around :X oops. hahahaha. i also wrote messages for my grp of 4 left (jing hong went back to work =.=) then token of appreciation from the camp comm is the leo currency.

HAD LOTSA FUN AT CAMP LA ^^ thats why i said always remind me to get our from my comfort zone. i actually love camps a lot de. but everytime i want to wait ppl to pei me. at least this rash decision didn't make me regret la

I realised the ppl close to me have that 1 common goal bout me: to stop me from wearing tshirt n jeans.

u can go back to the previous holidays where lihe n KK tried to put me in a dress =.= n they still rmb they have to put me in a dress on my bday. go figure how dead i'll get.

or take ytd as example. lihe, jasmine and rachelle tried to stop me from wearing tshirt n jeans. we went bugis n they chose stuff for me n asked me to pay. i choose not to say anything. they 3 really damn pek chek wif me. lols. so actually the trick is to force it on me =.= I just don't grumble. I just don't say anything or i just say "anything" or "suibian" :) if i really say "not nice" don't even try forcing it on me. but i bought 3 stuff, $10 each. 1 jacket, 1 tank top, 1 shirt (or wadeva u call it)

until now i still don't understand wad is sooooooooooooooooo wrong wif tshirt n jeans =.= so 1 day they picked on the jeans. another day they picked on the tshirt. hais.

but at least i know i have nice friends :D erm like friends who read me so easiliy =.= or just that my wardrobe is just too obviously limited :X hahahahaha.

hahas. met at serangoon mrt wif lihe, KK n xinyi, brunch at vivo kopitiam, meet freshies at skytrain, then to sentosa! my grp's freshies are so nice that all come except all, which is likka big fat zero, so me n lihe joined xinyi n KK's grp. their grp got 2 freshies. but they all are likka fun sia. or more like ALL THE FRESHIES ARE FUN!!! :)

icebreakers, chitchat sessions, dog&bone, volleyball at or around sapphire pavillion. then the build sandcastle competition turned soaking in the sea was fun :) i wore white n i still went in. i rock man. i wasn't dunked in by force. i went in volunteeringly :) oh n burying benjamin in the sand was very LOL too. hahahaha. N STUPID KK DIDN'T EVEN GET WET. what an asshole. hahas.

shower, then photo taking time at pavillion, lehpak some more, walked to beach station for tram in the drizzle, see yoketeng's face like lobster liddat, lehpak at vivo station, chased away by security guard for standing at the exit, go dapao food from the hawker centre near vivo, then "romantic" dinner beside dim lamp posts at sky garden wif less than half of mongols. then hang around at playground, see ppl paktor and flirt (esp some of the freshies). played icebreakers (toki toki, mrt station game, concentration - animal actions + sound ver, plaster, blow wind blow) wif a pretty small bunch of peeps. hahahaha. fun sia! kip slapping ppl thighs lor. n of coz see ppl get slapped la. :D

then home wif some freshies and the usuals. n i'm out wif the same bunch of ppl like every single day! woots.

mongols made a hell lot of noise everywhere we go ^^ Cine to buy tickets, clogging up the passageway wif 21 ppl standing around. then split half half to KFC and BK for lunch (seriously neglecting the restaurant in the middle). I went KFC hahas. realised the O.R fillet was like real salty zzz... some gals went to shop for Olivia's dress. and of course forcing her into it. it's like so kelian! hais. n now lihe, xinyi, KK going to target me next. ARGH.

Lehpak at arcade, b4 watching Date Night. It's kinda like romance and action LOL. and comedy too. hahas. n we did the That's not our cheer in the theatre when majority of the cinema-goers cleared out. hahahaha. damn epic. the cleaners must have been staring at us thinking we're crazy lol. (that was 29 MONGOLS in the cinema FYI)

313@somerset, standing around outside the japanese pastry shop deciding where we're going next. settled on going to Vivo. LOL. bused 65 to vivo, camwhored (not me) in the back of the upper deck. like 24 ppl gossiping, talking cock, crapping etc. n the couple that was stuck in the middle of our group is so kelian. bet they must be thinking about telling us all to shuddup. hahaha.

Vivo sky garden, forming a huge circle n talking crap. almost played ice breakers. hahaha. standing around outside food republic deciding wad to do (again), then Carls Jr. for dinner. i definitely had tooooo much fastfood and sweet drinks for ytd. hahahaha. me, lihe, jasmine, xinyi, n KK set at same table gossiping about like everything hahahahahahaha. damn fun. n the food also not nice. hahas. then the majority of the peeps went back to town to watch movie, left wif us 5 + charlie. walk around vivo then head home~ hahas.

(zi high + zi lame) LOL. let's blame that sleep factor. :P

DAY2: GAMES day. it's the sleep factor thing again, only this time even more shagged wif a CUI voice. BUT it's still fun :) my freshies are starting to warm up and SHOUT CHEERS le :)) oh n the silent sa game was ultimate man! hahahaha. there's only 2 games we havent played b4: the obstacle course and the basketball-cum-captainsball wif miniature balls. oh n they took out the spot the difference shit n change it to the fold canvas thingy.

DAY3: it's called sit-at-CC-for-the-whole-day-n-get-your-butts-sore day. hahaha. performances, cheers, boring stage games, people waxing off their armpits etc etc. LOL. of course i would say MONGOLS had the best performance. :)) anw mongols won the best board. of course la! hahaha. dun ask me who won the overall best. i fell asleep after hearing wad mongols won. lols. n olivia is the best SB for MONGOLS. the other SCs stay back n "clean up" the classroom but i nvr stay. hais kinda wasted. i'll blame alot of ppl for that. hahaha. coz they danced all the performances again. hais. last chance to play leh hahahaha.

stayed back on day1 n day2 to help out wif the performers:) hahaha. dam fun. esp the day 2 de. THE BLACK SHEEPS ARE THE MOST EPIC!!! hahas.

n many things happen during the whole camp. the bad stuff la. blame the cui mood bah. rachelle lost her wallet on day1, lihe lost her hp on day 3, KK lost his immune system on day3 (if u noe wad i mean...) AND MOST SBSCs LOST THEIR VOICES (completely) ON DAY3! woots.
But it still is a fun camp la :)

Ajisen Ramen, then clash of the titans. quite nice leh the show. lols. BUT I WANNA WATCH "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON"... hahahas. dinner wif lijing, hongmin, benedict, emanto, chong junn, ken kiong, you yue. then movie wif the same ppl but yuxi and yanting came along too. me n lijing last minute then agree to watch movie de lols. it's like FULL HOUSE la. 1st time see the grand cathay filled up. lols.

ohh n shopping wif lijing around taka then daiso at dhoby before meeting up wif the guys. spent waay more than 30 bucks today. i'm going so broke. movie alone is like $10.50!!! n i still have to pay lijing share all that. hais. n i still nid to top up card. i'm really really going soooooooo broke... better control my spending...

movie started at 9.50, ended at 11.40pm. n then we kinda chionged to the mrt. N I MANAGED TO CATCH THE LAST TRAIN HOME :) woots~! train-ed back to serangoon wif hongmin. n it's the 1st time i took the last train! n it's kinda spooky to walk home alone in the dark past 12 midnight. lucky it wasn't a horror movie though some parts were kinda scary. hahahaha. but it's quite shuang to be out so late at night. hahahaha. n i saw a bunch of midnight cyclists outside my blk. i never knew ppl midnight cycled wif frens in the hdb estate. hahaha.

2day baoc meeting again. rehearsed the skit (imma black sheep) and did props (my "PAST" and "NOW" sign). basically is like quite LOL. stress early in the morning at 10+ am wif lihe. hahahaha. kay so early in the morning play stress. but who can help it... this is wad u do when u don't have enough ppl to play dai di n u're too bored. oh n the tempo main cast are like so hilarious. michelle and olivia keep laughing n laughing non stop at their roles of gengkhis khan and khulan. hahaha.

n lihe and KK convos are like so similar. hahaha. both their first questions were " am i on9?" (coz of that off9 issue on stupid msn). n they both asked the same questions when filling in the forms for some handover ceremony whatnot for leo club. hahahahaha. like so qiao la. hahas.

yay i'm ponning tmr's baoc mtg~ woots. lols. n i got into the diploma plus program!! haha. so unexpected. i thought i'll nvr get in. i better continue being optimistic wif that extra module to take... :) might have to be a full time mugger soon :( but it's impossible huh? =D

1st game : scissors paper stone + balloon popping. winner will pop the balloons. first team tat finishes popping all their balloons win :) dam fun hahahaha

2nd game : spot the difference. 3 ppl's objects on their bodies are either exchanged or kept in the bucket. then rest of team later have to arrange all the things back. NOT FUN. lols

3rd game : plasticine thingy. 1st person given a object then have to use plasticine make a model of it. 2nd person sees the model, then makes a new model of object. last person guess wad is it.

4th game : ping pong balls and paper plates. hold paper plate in ur mouth n throw the ping pong ball on plate backwards to the person behind. person behind have to catch the ball using the paper plate, n cycle continues. team wif most ping pong balls win. haha. WARNING! this game will result in lotsa lotsa bouncing ping pong balls. LOL

5th game : bucket of water. each team given 12 2m raffia string. get the bucket of water out of the circle w/o dragging it. our mongols team 1 won :) with like only 7 ppl doing it. hahahaha.

6th game : sth do wif chairs again. total 13 chairs, 6 chairs on each side n 1 in the middle of the 2 teams at the end. aim is to get all the ppl on 1 side of the team to the other side. trick is to create alternate ppl. our team 1 won also :) the most a person can move is to skip one chair only. n cannot move in reverse direction.

7th game : (fiona's n andy's station lols) 100 boxes or dunno how many boxes are drawn on the floor. person have to follow 1 - 15 in order to get from one end of the box to the other. the numbers 1 - 15 are given on the paper, n each person is given 20 secs (?) to read it. quite fun. hahas

8th game : key punch. all the equations and whatnot numbers from 1 to 20 are stuck on the floor. team nids to step on the numbers in order to complete game. kinda fun. kyu in jap is 9 :)

9th game : blind wall. dam lame. split into 2 teams, half of 1 team blindfolded, the other is not. non blindfolded have to direct the ppl to throw 3 balls at the opponent team. directing ppl cant step in the box. once ball touch u tat means u out of the game le. damn lame n not fun n i nvr played :)

10th game : blow soccer. 2 teams, each person from each team have to sit alternately. total of 20 ppl (10 from each team) is playing. aim is to score a goal. of coz u can only blow the ball. n butts cant leave chair, cannot bite the ball etc etc. its a game filled wif saliva, almost kisses, dizziness, laughter, n wonderful lungs. ppl on the heavier side usually score well in this game. hahahahaha. i'm making my nonsense inferences.

think tats all. doubt i miss out any games. some games we didn't get to play coz its raining. rain the spirit dampener. hahahaha.

going to NP almost every single afternoon to do props aka play dai di. we spend more time playing than doing work. hahahaha. n i managed to pull KK into my baoc group. hahahaha. obviously i have nothing better to do. lols.

ACC Camp was cancelled :( so sadddd... their unforeseen circumstances might have been not enough ppl or they cant book the loft room bah... hahaha. i guess only.

but guides camp of coz sure have de la :) pictures are on facebook in putri's album. i have a few unglam videos of joey and her hawaiian dance / indian dance / tribal dance forfeits. LOL. oh n there's the joey clap bel invented. actually bel also invented one for me. hahahahaha. shh doubt any1 will know wad my clap will be like. hahahas. there's one for yanying and deb chee but i can't rmb how it goes :DD

n halfway through GG camp on Sun morn i went Orchard do "flag day" CIP. think i spent too much time slacking n sitting around in the shopping malls rather than doing work. zzz... dunno which person kip forcing me to slack de hor *ahem* i was actually willing to continue standin there trying to ask ppl donate de la. zzz...

BUT guides camp still was fun la ^^ YAY guides rox~ n I predict that next year Guides camp sure no1 want go back wif me de la. zzz...

the Tuesday a few days ago our CATS cher treated us to buffet at the Carousel Restaurant @ Royal Plaza at Scotts Road. yum yum. nice food :) a lot of those raw de. lucky i nvr kana stomach ache. and the deserts and seafood are nice!!!...

eh holidays started alr!!! papers were quite ok though chances of me getting big fat zeros for a lot of the questions is quite high. u know wad i mean ;) gonna make myself super darn high wif 3 camps coming up! :) i predict i'll be in permanent HIGH mode throughout this 7 weeks holiday :)
oh n i have 3 different roles for the 3 camps. hahahaha. organiser/planner/whatnot u call it for the guides camp, group leader /SB /SC for BAOC of course, and just a plain participant for the SPIN @ ACC camp. idk which one i look forward to leh. oh wells...

tmr going for those orientation stuff for the BAOC. erm orientation for the group leaders so we can prepare orientation for the freshies. ok confusing. n watching Summer Wars tmr wif KK and Lijing :) hahahahahaa. hope it'll be nice~ 2day went back n help joey they all plan camp. i bet u can't find a better senior than me :) hahahahahaha. it's their camp n i am helping them plan. the camp better turn out well... let's hope the attendance will be good :)

yeah i know i can write for ages. guess the next time i'll EVER post is after the 11th march. wait that's just next week. coz that's when my 1st camp will end :) so i better write down whatever that happened in camp here. so i can use it for future references. hahahahahahahaha. future references meaning future camps :)
